The Heritage Centre in the Telford Manse is all about the islanders' lives over the past 200 years - their crofting way of life, customs, crafts etc. Also displays on geology, shells, flora, Celtic art; information on Iona genealogy; continuous slideshow.

Founded by St Columba in AD563, Iona Abbey is one of Scotland’s most historic and sacred sites. Visit the medieval abbey church and cloisters, the Michael Chapel and see the superb collection of carved stones and crosses. Currently, COVID-19 restrictions mean visits must be pre-booked and are by guided tour only.
