Founded by St Columba in AD563, Iona Abbey is one of Scotland’s most historic and sacred sites. The Sea Room (Sleeps 10).

The Sea Room is a large and comfortable apartment and is the perfect place to relax, kick off your shoes and enjoy the quiet of the island with your family or friends. There is a huge wooden table to sit around, tatty old Persian rugs, far too many books, comfy sofas and no TV. There is, as a concession to the modern world, excellent WiFi.

Traighmor Cottage is situated on a quiet croft 10 minutes walk from the village and has beautiful sea views.

The house sleeps four in two rooms (one double and one twin).

The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, and the lounge has satellite TV. There’s no internet, but it is possible to get access via 4G from the mast near Fionnphort. Bedlinen and towels are provided.

Our rate is amongst the most affordable on Iona and includes electricity.
