There are many places of worship on Iona and visitors are most welcome at all of them. Service times are subject to change, so please do check with the worship centres nearer the time of your visit. Winter season is generally November to mid March.
The Abbey
The Iona Community is now on a winter service schedule. Services will be held in the Abbey Church until Friday 27th October, and in the Michael Chapel from Saturday 28th October.
Morning Prayer at 9.30am, Monday to Saturday.
Tuesdays 7.30pm Service of Prayer for Healing and Laying on of Hands.
Thursdays 7.30pm Holy Communion or Agape.
Sundays 7.30pm Quiet Time.

Bishop's House
This Episcopalian retreat house holds regular services in Columba's Chapel, in the heart of the house. From April to late October, there are daily services at 8am and 9pm, and at 5pm on a Wednesday. Services are sometimes cancelled on change-over days, so do please phone or email to avoid disappointment!

Church of Scotland Parish Church
Sunday Service held at 1.15pm during the winter and 12 noon in the summer. The parish is currently in a vacancy situation and seeking a permanent minister.

Cnoc a' Chalmain
Roman Catholic House of Prayer
Every Sunday there is a service at 9.30am. From May to September, on the first Sunday of the month only, this is held in the Michael Chapel, Iona Abbey. On other Sundays the service is in the Oratory at the House of Prayer.
From April to end of September, Monday to Saturday there is a service in the Oratory at 5pm.
