There are boat trips and organised fishing excursions that run from the pier, which cater for small family outings to more serious angling forays. The waters have plenty of sporting fish and as well some wonderful treats to enjoy on a BBQ. In terms of fishing from the foreshore, a good spinning rod off the north end rocks or down by the south west of the island can find feisty Pollack, as well as Ling and Mackerel. Similarly a crab line off the jetty can occupy kids and adults alike for hours.
Please be aware of tides and weather when exploring the foreshore and rocks. For further information on fishing in the Hebrides please visit this website.
